Rad Reading-March

This month, I read a book called The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. The book is about a man named Eddie who dies on his 83rd birthday and goes to heaven, where he meets five different people who affected his life in different ways and explain why his life mattered. I liked this book because it gave a very interesting insight on life and how the things we do affect other people’s lives. It has a very well-thought out story and the characters are very interesting. My favorite character from the book is Marguerite, who is Eddie’s wife. One of the reasons she is my favorite character is because she loves weddings. I also love weddings, and she chooses a world of different weddings as her personal heaven. “ ‘All weddings,’ she said, happily. ‘That was my choice. A world of weddings, behind every door. Oh, Eddie, it never changes, when the groom lifts the veil, when the bride accepts the ring, the possibilities you see in their eyes, it’s the same around the world. They truly believe their love and their marriage is going to break all the records.’ “ This quote is also my favorite quote from the entire book as well. It is meaningful to me because, as I explained earlier, I love weddings and the idea of belonging to someone you love for the rest of your life. In conclusion, I loved this book and think that anyone who wants to should read it. I rate it a ten out of ten as it is very creative and gives people a really great insight on life.
